Lessons & Vocal Coaching
I offer private music lessons and vocal coaching in a supportive and encouraging environment where students can build confidence, develop strong musical skills, and enjoy the process of making music.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals and interests, whether they are learning piano for the first time, preparing for a musical theatre audition, improving vocal technique, or developing music theory skills.
What I Teach
I offer instruction in the following areas:
Piano (Beginner & Intermediate)
Voice (Beginner & Intermediate)
Music Theory
Music History
Vocal Coaching
Audition Preparation (Musical Theatre)
Lessons focus on building strong fundamentals while also encouraging creativity, musicality, and confidence.
Lesson Information & Studio
Lessons are typically scheduled on a weekly basis and are available in 30, 45, or 60 minute formats, depending on the student’s age, level, and goals.
Lessons normally take place at my studio in Collingwood on a full-sized piano in a comfortable teaching environment. In some cases, lessons outside of my studio may be possible, depending on location and scheduling, and can be discussed individually.
Parents are welcome to sit in for the first two lessons. After that, students typically work independently to build confidence and focus during lessons.
A police check and vulnerable sector check are available upon request.
Teaching Philosophy
My goal as a teacher is to help students build strong musical skills while also developing confidence, creativity, and a genuine love of music. I believe lessons should be both structured and enjoyable, and that students learn best in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Every student is different, so lessons are tailored to individual goals, interests, and learning styles. Above all, I want students to feel proud of their progress and excited to make music.
